Marine & Offshore Consultants have been awarded the contract for MWS representation by DNV-GL / GLIS (Germanischer Lloyd Industrial Services) for the towage of Bumi Armada barges built in Constanta (i.e. Armada Constructor A & B) from Constanta (Romania) to Astrakhan (Russia).
This endeavour is particularly challenging due to the short / squeezed time frame available to survey the sea and river tugs, documentary approval, site surveys and preparations for the transports.
An expert team has been assembled particularly for this challenging endeavour with the task of meeting Client expectations and aid to Barges towage to Astrakhan before Volga-Don river canal winter closure.
